Estancia Destilado de Pulque is an agave spirit made from the popular drink pulque. Pulque is an alcoholic beverage made from the fermented sap of the maguey plant. It is traditional to central Mexico, where it has been produced for millennia and has the colour of milk, is somewhat viscous in consistency and has a sour-yeast like taste. When pulque is distilled, it results in Estancia Destilado de Pulque that tastes like freshly cut agave, menthol and mint.
