A classic Rhône red (blend of Grenache and Syrah), that is friendly and warming leafy, autumnal aromas and an ample, sweet dried currant palate. With a rich ruby core with cherry hues. On the nose Italian herbs, and spices like clove and thyme waft. With more air (even a swirl of a glass) notes of raspberry and earthiness show. Pink peppercorns and a herby perfume, finishing with a light floral note of lavender. Those baking spices on the nose continue onto the palette, with a long finish and soft tannins. A delicious, uncomplicated medium-bodied, soft, fruity and very drinkable red... yet serious enough to accompany food. Great for a classic or casual meal.
